PROPERTY MANAGER IN MONTREAL (North Shore)

Chargé(e) de Projets de Construction

Groupe Quint is looking for a property manager to work as a member of its Property Management Team. Working directly with the Operations adepartment, the candidate chosen will be immersed in all aspects of the company’s day to day operations and will participate in a multitude of activities including property management, redevelopment, leasing, and property accounting.

Responsibilities

The person will participate in all aspects of the day to day functioning of a busy commercial real estate company, including:

  • Collection of tenant rents as required
  • Co‐ordination of the maintenance and repair of the property, observing budget guidelines and restrictions
  • Maintain a presence familiarity with each tenant
  • Deal with all suppliers including the sourcing of new ones as required
  • Report to management on the status of each property
  • Ensure property compliance with any and all applicable laws and by‐laws
  • Perform regular site and tenant inspections
  • Respond to tenant requests for service and emergencies
  • Oversee tenant improvements and/or landlord’s work

Qualifications/Skills

  • Property management experience of at least 5 years
  • Must quickly respond to tenant requests and emergencies
  • Must be able to work independently as well as with others
  • Must be organized and able to keep track of a high level of information and follow up
  • Must be proactive and take initiative
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and change directions with a moments’ notice
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with computer software, especially Excel, Word, Outlook
  • English and French proficiency, both oral and written
  • Own a valid driver’s license

Working directly with the Operations department, the candidate chosen will be immersed in all aspects of the company’s day to day operations in this big indoor mall and will participate in a multitude of activities including property management, redevelopment, renovation, leasing, and property accounting.

Responsibilities

The person will participate in all aspects of the day to day functioning of a busy commercial real estate company, including:

PROPERTY ADMINISTRATOR IN MONTREAL

Groupe Quint is looking for a property administrator to work as a member of its Property Management Team. Working directly with a senior property manager, the Property Administrator will be responsible for providing
administration and accounting support, for day to day operations at the property location of a growing real-estate developer.

Responsibilities

The person will participate in all aspects of the day to day functioning of a busy commercial real estate company, including:

  • Provide day to day administrative assistance to the property manager
    • Liaise with tenants for day to day operations
    • Processing accounts payable & accounts receivable
    • Prepare PO and follow up on Tenant service calls
    • Follow up on accounts receivable collections
    • Prepare general ledger postings
    • Other duties/projects as required.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Experience in a real estate company
    o Excellent verbal and written communication in French and English
    o Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and HOPEM (or another real estate
    software)
    o Detail-oriented
    o Strong customer service skills

REAL ESTATE PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

Chargé(e) de Projets de Construction

Groupe Quint is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented property
accountant with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently. Property management software experience such as Hopem is an asset.

Responsibilities

The person will participate in all aspects of the day to day functioning of a busy commercial real estate company, including:

  • Update and Process monthly property rent rolls
    • Prepare monthly financial reports for partners
    • Prepare yearly property forecast and budgets for properties
    • Monthly analysis of property revenue and expenses and related budget variances
    • Create and process monthly Journal Entries
    • Follow up monthly account receivables with tenants
    • All other property accounting functions
    • Prepare properties’ annual operating expense statements and tenants’ escalations (ie 13th) billings & follow up with tenants

Qualifications/Skills
• Two to Five years commercial real estate experience
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and perfectly bilingual French / English
• Ability to manage various tasks at one time
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• HOPEM or other similar property management software experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and or professional accounting desgination
• Strong Excel skills
